Sean T. Hennigan, Esq.
My career in law began at home. My dad was an assistant district attorney, in upstate New York for many years and I always found it interesting watching him take a case from the facts, through investigation, to trial. My dad never pushed me into the law, he just wanted us to be happy. However, I was always interested in my father’s work and deep down, knew it was something that I wanted to pursue.
Despite that interest, my journey into the legal field has not been a straight line. I graduated from University of Massachusetts in Boston, where I played hockey and lacrosse, earning a degree in exercise physiology. For a time, I thought that I might try medical school. After college, with that in mind, I took a job in the Cardiac Catheterization unit at Massachusetts General Hospital. However, after working for 10 years in the medical field I decided that the law was where I wanted to be.
While attending Law School, I continued to work at Mass General, which has given me a great reference point for one of Contant Law’s practice areas – personal injury litigation.
I really enjoy all our practice areas from personal injury to criminal defense to bankruptcy. I like being in court, debating, making an argument on behalf of our clients.
In addition to my law practice I am also a member of the Planning Board for my hometown of Wilmington, where I live with my wife and our two wonderful children.
